EcoSolar improves access to groundwater in rural areas that often don’t have a reliable and environmentally-friendly pumping system. A project full of (solar) energy!

In the North of Cameroon, 90% of the population make their living from agriculture and livestock and have difficulty accessing water.

For them and other households, EcoSolar is a solar-powered water pump that is easy to use, robust, and environmentally friendly.

It also comes with a connected mobile app, that tracks water usage in real time and provides practical advice and recommendations.

To create the EcoSolar, four young people on integration programs were trained in 3D design and laser cutting.
